About Music of the Night:
"The Music of the Night" (also labelled as just "Music of the Night") is a major song from the 1986 musical The Phantom of the Opera. The music was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Charles Hart and Richard Stilgoe. Initially made famous by Michael Crawford, the actor who originated the role of the Phantom both in the West End and on Broadway, "The Music of the Night" has appeared on many cast recordings of the musical, sold millions of copies worldwide, and has been translated into many languages.
The Phantom of the Opera is a musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber (who co-wrote the libretto alongside Richard Stilgoe) and lyrics by Charles Hart. It is based on the 1910 eponymous French novel by Gaston Leroux.
The plot revolves around a beautiful soprano, Christine Daaé, who becomes the obsession of a mysterious, masked musical genius living in the subterranean labyrinth beneath the Paris Opéra House.
The musical opened in London's West End in 1986 and on Broadway in 1988. It won the 1986 Olivier Award and the 1988 Tony Award for Best Musical, and Michael Crawford (in the title role) won the Olivier and Tony Awards for Best Actor in a Musical. It is currently the longest running show in Broadway history, and celebrated its 10,000th Broadway performance on 11 February 2012, the first production ever to do so. It is the second longest-running West End musical, after Les Misérables, and the third longest-running West End show overall, after The Mousetrap. A film adaptation directed by Joel Schumacher was released in 2004.

After an adolescence inspired by Erte, Miro, and mid-century pop art, Bodner moved to Los Angeles and developed his talents at Art Center College of Design.
Bodner’s fine art is an extension of an Emmy Award-winning, 25-year career as an Art Director for numerous studios and production companies, including the Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., DreamWorks, The Cartoon Network, and Filmation, to name a few. Mighty Mouse, The Fat Albert Show, Heckle & Jeckle, and Pee Wee’s Playhouse comprise his early credits—followed by Looney Tunes theatrical shorts with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and Sylvester & Tweety. Credits include the Emmy-nominated Kim Possible, Phineas & Ferb, The Replacements, Mickey’s Twice Upon A Christmas, The Iron Giant, Cinderella II, Neighbors From Hell, The Life & Times of Juniper Lee, the classic Bugs Bunny short Carrotblanca, and many more. His five Annie Award nominations include a win for Warner Bros. The Iron Giant and Emmy for Disney’s Tangled Series.
