The Penguin Original and Limited Edition Art

Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, also known as the Penguin, is one of Batman's oldest and most prominent villains.   The Penguin is an eccentric criminal mastermind, known for shady dealings and "normal" criminal activities as well as his love of ornithology and trick umbrellas. He owns the Iceberg Lounge, an internationally renowned nightclub, which acts as a front for his illegal activities. In virtually all incarnations, the Penguin is short, chubby man who dresses in fine suits, complete with a top hat, monocle and white gloves. He regularly wields a series of trick umbrellas which may hide a machine gun or sword, act as a personal helicopter device, or spray gas.   The Penguin fancies himself as a "gentleman of crime", and does not engage in massive crimes that threaten Gotham City, preferring simpler crimes such as theft or embezzlement. Recently, the Penguin has become a mobster and nightclub owner, dealing in quieter criminal activities such as embezzling and smuggling, while claiming that he is a "legitimate businessman". Although eccentric, the Penguin does not suffer from any psychological problems and does not theme his crimes around any psychotic obsession, like the Joker or Two-Face. He will occasionally pull a bird-themed heist. But, because the Penguin is perfectly sane, he is never sent to Arkham Asylum with the rest of Batman's rogues gallery.
