Peter Pan Original and Limited Edition Art

A fictional character created by J.M. Barrie. Peter Pan is a boy who escaped to Neverland where no child grows up. There he makes friends with the lost boys and plays in games with Indians and pirates. His notorious foe is Captain Hook, who hates Peter due to the fact that he cut off his hand and fed it to the crocodile. Because of this, the crocodile follows Hook everywhere, hoping for more of his tasty flesh.

Peter is described as a young boy wearing leaves. He is arrogant, reckless and views everything as a game or adventure, with little regard for the consequences. This attitude often leads him and his friends into some dangerous situations.

Originally a play, the story of Peter Pan has been done and redone over and over, but one of the most famous renditions is the 1953 Disney telling of the classic tale.
